Dental Fillings

Restore Your Health by Fixing Your Tooth Structure

Maintaining healthy teeth is essential for overall well-being. Unfortunately, teeth can deteriorate over time, resulting in functional and aesthetic concerns. Dental fillings are a solution for addressing issues such as cavities, cracks, or wear and tear caused by various factors, restoring the affected teeth’s health.
Whether your teeth are damaged from nail-biting, you’re experiencing a painful cavity, or you’ve chipped a tooth due to an accident, our team is prepared to offer the assistance and support you need.

What to Expect After Getting a Dental Filling

Your dentist will begin by administering local anesthesia to ensure the area is fully numb, ensuring you’re comfortable throughout the procedure. Once the injection is administered, you’ll be relieved of any discomfort or pain.

When Do You Need a Dental Filling?

If you notice discomfort or sensitivity in a particular area of your tooth, it may indicate tooth decay. This sensation acts as an alert for both you and your dentist to potential issues such as a cavity, a fractured tooth, or significant tooth erosion. To assess whether you have a cavity, we will perform several tests, including:
  • Evaluation through sight
  • Examination by touch or probing
  • Radiographic imaging
Upon completion of the examinations, we will provide a diagnosis and formulate a treatment plan. For minor cavities, we may recommend a conservative approach of monitoring. However, if the cavity is significant, causing discomfort, or located in a hard-to-reach area, we generally recommend a filling.
